The Role of Communication in The Process of Primary Education

In modern primary education, communication plays a central role in shaping students’ cognitive, social, and emotional development. Effective communication between teachers and learners facilitates knowledge acquisition, supports the development of language skills, and enhances collaborative learning. This article examines theoretical perspectives, pedagogical principles, and practical approaches to communication in primary education. Through a qualitative analysis of scholarly literature, the study explores verbal and non-verbal communication, interactive teaching methods, classroom dialogue, and digital communication tools. Particular attention is given to the role of teacher-student interaction, peer communication, and technology-mediated communication as key factors in effective learning environments. Findings indicate that structured and meaningful communication strategies significantly improve student engagement, comprehension, and critical thinking. The article concludes that integrating traditional and innovative communication methods strengthens the educational process and supports the development of active, confident, and communicative learners.
