Abstract

Transcription is a crucial process in various fields, such as journalism, legal proceedings, and medical research. To improve the quality of transcription, creative training approaches are needed. This article proposes transparency as an elucidation method for a more creative training approach in transcription. The paper outlines the importance of transparency and how it can be incorporated into the training process. The article also presents case studies of successful transcription training programs that have used transparency as a key component. The results of these case studies suggest that transparency can enhance the quality of transcription by improving the understanding of the transcription process and by enabling the trainees to contribute their own creative ideas. Overall, the paper highlights the benefits of transparency and suggests that it can be a valuable tool in the training of transcribers.
