This article discusses activities of internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in ensuring public safety and fighting crime (2017-2022). Pardoning and re-educating people who have committed crimes is an important factor in the process of strengthening order in society. This is reflected in the imposition of punishment in the form of correctional work or restriction of freedom to convicts who previously entered the street of crime, then realized their guilt, sincerely repented and went on the path to recovery. Employees of the probation departments of the internal affairs bodies will study that these persons do not abuse the trust given to them.
