Oral Hygiene and Its Role in The Prevention of Dental Diseases

Oral hygiene is a critical factor in maintaining oral health and preventing dental diseases. This article reviews the importance of oral hygiene practices, explores the relationship between oral hygiene and dental diseases, and examines current research on the effectiveness of various oral hygiene methods. The findings underscore the necessity of regular oral care to reduce the prevalence of conditions such as caries and periodontal disease. The article concludes with recommendations for improving oral hygiene practices among various population groups.
