This research paper delves into the intricate landscape of banking business models, risk management systems, and the proclivity for financing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Zimbabwe. The study comprehensively examines the dynamic financial environment in Zimbabwe, shedding light on the evolving strategies adopted by banks to meet the diverse needs of SMEs while effectively managing associated risks. Through a multifaceted analysis, this paper aims to provide valuable insights into the critical factors influencing SME financing trends in Zimbabwe and their implications for the broader economy.
