Author Guidelines

(Applicable to all journals under Next Scientists)

1. Submission Policy

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • Submissions are accepted only in English. Authors are responsible for the clarity and accuracy of the language.

  • All papers must be submitted electronically via the journal's online submission portal or by email to the respective editorial office.


2. Manuscript Structure

All manuscripts should follow the general structure below unless specified otherwise:

Title Page

  • Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)

  • Full name(s) of author(s)

  • Institutional affiliation(s)

  • Corresponding author’s name, email, and full address

Abstract

  • Maximum 250 words

  • Concise summary including the purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications

Keywords

  • 4 to 6 relevant keywords

  • Listed below the abstract

Main Text

Recommended format (especially for empirical or scientific studies):

  • Introduction

  • Methods / Methodology

  • Results / Findings

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion and Recommendations

References

  • Use APA (7th edition) referencing style for all in-text citations and references.

  • Authors must ensure that all references are accurate and complete.

Tables and Figures

  • Each table and figure must be numbered and titled.

  • Include all tables and figures within the text at appropriate locations.

  • Provide source notes if necessary.


3. Formatting Guidelines

  • Use Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) file format

  • Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12 pt

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margin: 1 inch on all sides

  • Page numbers: bottom center


4. Plagiarism Policy

  • All submissions will be screened for plagiarism.

  • Manuscripts with plagiarism exceeding 10% will be rejected immediately.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work.


5. Peer Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.

  • Review time may vary between 2 to 5 weeks, depending on reviewer availability.

  • Authors will be notified of the editorial decision after the review process.


6. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • All journals under Next Scientists operate under an open-access model supported by an Article Processing Charge (APC).

  • APC details will be shared upon acceptance of the manuscript.


7. Copyright and Licensing

  • Upon publication, authors retain the copyright.

  • All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction, provided the original work is properly cited.


8. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

  • Studies involving human participants must include an ethics statement and informed consent.

  • Proper credit should be given to co-authors and collaborators.


9. Withdrawal Policy

  • Authors may withdraw their manuscript only before peer review begins.

  • Withdrawal after peer review or acceptance may lead to blacklisting from future submissions.
