Abstract

This article delves into the unique linguistic features that characterize internet texting in the Uzbek language. As digital communication continues to evolve, so too does the way Uzbek speakers interact online. This study explores various elements, including the use of abbreviations, slang, code-switching, and the impact of social media on language. By examining informal syntax, visual elements like emojis, and the role of gender in communication, we uncover how the internet is shaping modern Uzbek discourse. Additionally, the article addresses the tension between language preservation and change, highlighting the importance of understanding these dynamics in the context of a rapidly digitalizing world.
