This study delves into the experiences of Ecuadorian English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers as they navigate the intricate realm of academia in pursuit of scholarly publication. The narrative unfolds through a chronicle that captures the challenges, triumphs, and transformative moments embedded in their journey. Employing qualitative research methods, this exploration sheds light on the unique perspectives, strategies, and reflections that shape the trajectory of these educators. The findings contribute not only to the understanding of the publication process but also to the broader discourse on professional development within the context of EFL instruction in Ecuador.
