GREENING CONCRETE BLOCKS: SUSTAINABLE ENHANCEMENT VIA PARTIAL CEMENT REPLACEMENT WITH FLY ASH
Vivek Batra , Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Lovely Professional University, LPU Jalandhar, IndiaAbstract
This study investigates the sustainable enhancement of concrete blocks through the partial replacement of cement with fly ash. The research examines the mechanical, environmental, and economic implications of incorporating fly ash as a supplementary cementitious material. Through comprehensive analysis and experimentation, this study aims to contribute to sustainable construction practices by reducing carbon emissions, conserving natural resources, and improving the overall performance of concrete blocks. The findings underscore the potential of fly ash in promoting environmentally responsible construction solutions.
