Abstract

This study aims to identify didactic opportunities for improving the methodological training of future primary school teachers in developing pupils' communicative competence. The research is based on competency-based, activity-oriented, dialogic, learner-centered, and reflective approaches and applies theoretical analysis, comparative analysis, systematization, and pedagogical modeling. The findings show that communicative competence is an integrated construct including cognitive, communicative, operational, motivational, and reflective components. A methodological framework is proposed that incorporates collaborative learning, inquiry-based learning, storytelling, case-based instruction, design thinking, and reflective assessment into teacher education. The study concludes that communicative competence is most effectively developed in systematically organized educational environments where communication serves as both the goal and the primary means of learning.
