This article highlights effective ways of using modern pedagogical technologies and interactive methods in guiding engineering students toward independent learning in physics. The advantages of employing digital educational resources, virtual laboratories, distance learning systems, and problem-based teaching methods in organizing independent study are analyzed. In addition, methodological recommendations aimed at developing students’ independent thinking, research skills, and problem-solving abilities are presented.
