Abstract

This article provides a detailed analysis of the history and developmental factors of Sufi literature, an integral part of classical Uzbek literature. It also examines the role of the ascetic (zuhd) period in Sufi literature, as well as how ascetic thought and spiritual-aesthetic values are reflected in mystical and artistic works.
