Frame-Semantic Analysis of The Human Willpower Conceptosphere In Uzbek Motivational Discourse (Based on Tohir Malik’s “Odamiylik Mulki” And “Shaytanat”)

Drawing on the theory of conceptosphere developed in Sh. Safarov’s “Cognitive Linguistics” (2006), the article analyzes the interconnected frame-semantic structure of the concepts iroda (will), gʻayrat (zeal), and shijoat (bravery), which together express personal volition in Uzbek motivational discourse. Authentic quotations from Tohir Malik’s “Odamiylik mulki” (2022) and the novel “Shaytanat” serve as the empirical material. The study establishes the bipolar nature of the volitional conceptosphere (the Nafs-Zulm-Xorlik Chain And The Iroda-Gʻayrat-Shijoat cluster) and identifies the structural components of the three core frames.
