Abstract

This study conducts a comparative analysis of factors influencing educational spending in Indian households, considering various well-being indicators. Education is a fundamental driver of socio-economic development, and understanding the determinants of family expenditure on education is crucial for policymakers and educators. Through an extensive examination of household data and well-being measures, this research sheds light on the factors that influence educational spending patterns in India. The study offers valuable insights into the relationship between family well-being and investments in education, contributing to informed policy decisions and targeted interventions to improve educational access and quality. ‎
